I saw this at absolutepunk.net - and it's pretty funny to read people's responses over there.. most of them are totally on target too..

What do yall think? What do you think should and should not go on?

Mods - sorry if this isn't allowed. I didn't know where else to post it.

what i think should not go on:
dudes that take their t-shirts off..come onnnnn.. [it happened at the FTSK show in omaha..eeeww]
girls saying OMGEEE that dude is hott [the guys in the band]
people just standing around..unless they don't know the band
there's a lot more i just can't think of it
ohhh none of that mosh pit stuff..like only guys do it and people get pushed..
what should go on
JUST HAVE FUN!
haha..if you don't know the band, just rock out anyways..it doesn't take that long to get used to a song..
hairties are a must..always bring one with you or tie your hair back...haha..i seriously can't think of too much..haha.

always go with friends to max dance partying
especially at small local shows where no one else is dancing
that jus means you need to step it up for them =]

hair ties are a must.
especially if you know its gonna be super crowded and someones gonna be all up on you.
unintentionally of course.
noone wants your hair in their face.
also, that whole moshing thing is getting pretty old.
its hard to enjoy the show when you're getting pushed around.

haha def agree about the hair ties. there's nothing worse then having someone elses hair all over you when you are already sweaty. gross.

I also hate when people push their way to the front. If you want barricade get thier early enough.

haha i have to admit that i go against both of yours

i mean dont get me wrong i wear hairties. but some crowds just get crazy and my hair starts to fall out. i always try to fix it though, but last time i didnt it was the starting lines last show and kenny threw out the pick and it landed in my hair so i see it as good luck i guess. haha

oh and the pushing thing. yeah i do that whenever im not in the front to start with. i mean i dont go crazy like some people but when people just stand there, sorry but im gonna get past you

haha yeah, the hair tie thing can go either way... I usually just irriated at girls who style thier hair to make it look like they are going to walk down a run way or something.. lol.

oh for sure, if they are just standing there you deserve to get pushed in front of. I just hate when there's literally no room to move (i.e. bamboozle) and 5 girls holding hand push through without saying excuse me.

i agree with the hair thing,
especially when you know it'll get crazy.
it's just gross when you get tangled up in someones long ass hair.
thankfully i have super short hair so i don't really have to worry about mine. haha.

also when people wear band shirts to shows.
especially when they're wearing some band that isn't even remotely relevent to who's playing. it just irks me for some reason. ha.

haha - the band shirt thing, I'd never wear the band that I'm seeing. - I think it's kind of awk if you walk in wearing the band you are seeing.

.. but I usually wear my Andrew is my Homeboy shirt if I'm not seeing JM- b/c it's fun.

haha i mean wearing the shirt you bought at the show, at the show (or the band who you are seeing like you said) or showing up to a chill show wearing a jeffree star shirt, ect. weird.
but to add to that i really dig homemade shirts. ( :

and ironically i went ftsk's show last night and it was one of the most obnoxious crowds. especially all the metro station kids. hair was being pulled and all the dudes there were trying to start shit with everyone they saw. others would run around poking people in the face and neck just to piss people off. it was totally unnescessary.

i saw ftsk for the first time and i was barrier
and the crowd SUCKED
but jonathon kept coming over and like singing to my camera and he grabbed my hand randomly a couple times and then he pointed to my camera from across the stage. its the most fun ive ever had at a show with the worst crowd ever

oh! and dont complain about pushing when its not even that bad. if its boys like girls suck it up, it could be WAY worse.

no. i hate when there are people just standing there.
with a big gap in front of them.
and you see me jumping and screaming behind you.
yet, you refuse to let me through.
then give me the worst attitude when i push through.
if you had just let me through, i wouldnt have had to push.

sorry, had to vent a little there.
or
when your clearly standing and theres no where for ANYONE to go yet, a whole group of kids tries to push their way in front of you.
all holding hands.
like, HELLO?! theres nowhere to go.
and then they get mad at me.
like wtf am i supposed to do?
move back so you could get in front of me.
no thanks.

People that just stand there - even if I don't know the support band I still make the effort to have a bit of a dance and get involved - it is fucking shitty for the band.

12 year girls in the pit moaning cos they are getting pushed, what did you think was going to happen?

Screamers. Ok, I know your hormones have kicked in but I would not like a burst ear drum, kk thx bye.

Guys who start pits who don't have a clue about pits - they are not there for you to beat up on people you morons - stop with that bullshit.

People who are more concerned about getting up front that the safety of people around them. If someone falls over, pick them the f**k up. If someone needs to get out, help lift them out.
