I queue overnight for Chem sometimes. Only because it went crazy and blew up and if you want a barrier spot, you kinda have to or at least get there for 5am or something equally as mental. Some shows people are trying to queue like two days before, in Newcastle in November, we got there at 9pm the night before, went to scope the venue and the queue was already 20 strong and so of those had been there since 7am in the morning. Ridic.

We always do hotel runs or trips to cars to put our stuff in though, whenever I see someone at the front of a queue for a gig with a bag I am like 'amateur!' If I am aiming for barrier I have like my ticket and asthama inhaler and that is it, maybe some change for a drink!

Oh and they are hanging out every night by merch for pics and sigs so you should deffo get to met them! [/img]

Well yeah I guess theyre understandable to queue that early but yeah if youre gonna do that, you shouldnt have your bag with you cause thats stupid. Two days before is just over the top. The earliest Ive ever queued is about 10am but then Ive never been to a gig outside London so I dont need to travel that far and it doesnt take that long to get there. Im coming straight from school to this one when I finish at 12:30 and Islington is so close to where I live.

Is that after the show and all of the guys? Well unless Danny gets mobbed too much and has to hide haha

Yus, every night they have all hung by the merch table, even Danny, but as you can imagine, leader singer syndrome means he always have the biggest crowd.

Where do you live? I used to live in London, I only moved back to Leicester to do my degree.

Oh cool, I will try to get a chat with them, hopefully most fangirls have to go meet their mummys outside so dont bother him too much.

I live in Enfield, where did you live before?

Ahh I was a North London girl also for a while! I used to go to school in Haringey and live round Crouch End way. I have lived in East London also, round Stepney / Limehouse.

I will be getting to the venue for about 13:30ish and if the queue is stoopid will be de-camping to the Weatherspoons for cheap drinks for my friends 21st!

Yeah the queue is something that scares me...for this show in particular... Shocked

They are usually all about 12 anyway and usually need to get out before the main band is on, I wouldn't worry too much! Plus some of kids are there for YouMeAtSix as well, so loads of them dissapear when they announce they will be at merch after they finish playing.

You just doing London?

Yeah apparently loads of people love You me at six Smile

I'll be in Oxford and London...if you don't see me it's prob because i'll be lost in the middle of nowhere haha What a Face

I'm just gonna try a general reply here, i should come on more often seeing as there's loads been posted here.

He really does need to change his clothes, but i rather like that tee so it's all good with me.
As for meeting them, the show ended at 9:30, which i thought was rather strange & they said they'd be by the bar to hang out, dunno if that'll be the same everywhere right enough.
Only seen Timmy & Danny come out though, and that was after an hour of standing at the merch & danny didn't really have that big a crowd round him, everyone was mobbing the you, me at six lot.

For once there wasn't a huge amount of people queing, my mates turned up about 4:30 and there wasn't too many people there.
We were about 3rd row by the time we got in, so that was awesome.
I didn't turn up to que till after 6 right enough, even at that there still wasn't many people.

Plus some of kids are there for YouMeAtSix as well, so loads of them dissapear when they announce they will be at merch after they finish playing.
A group of about 10 girls that had barrier left right after them, but i got pushed out the way by some massive guy that was beside me, if he hadn't i would've been able to move in _

Its tomorow!!!

FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK

I went to Cambridge on Saturday. It was beyond brilliant!!!
Watch out for the tennies tho.
You'll all be alright tho. They are mostly after You Me At Six .
I love em, but cannot stand girls squeeling at Josh and Max like they seem to. And I know London will only be worse for it.

Setlists for anyone who is interested.

The Audition

You Me At Six

Just Surender

I have LOADS of piccys on my myspace if anyone wants too see.

Cambridge was totes the worst night of the tour, not the guys fault but the venue was shite, if you weren't up front you couldn't see anything unless you stood in front on the raised platform in front of the merch, so we did, but we still only saw the tops of heads and Danny. Yay for him being so tall!

All the bands were so pissed at the venue, they had to walk through a tightly packed crowd to reach the stage and it was hot as shit. Slsy. The fangirls squeeing in Max's FACE at the merch while TheAudish were on got told about themselves by us.

Oxford made up for it 100% though, epic shoooooooooow.

we have a venue like that too.
where the band has to walk through the crowd to get on stage
the one show i went to there was HORRIBLE cause it was sold out
but the last one i went to wasnt bad at all
but thats because there was NO ONE there
except like me and my friends. lol =]

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
It was amazing.
I loved the show at Cambridge.
But then I was barrier right in the middle. So I was right in the action!!
Yeah, the walking through the crowd to get to the stage thing is a bit crap. But I love how close you are to the stage.

Islington was amazing last night too!!
But You Me At Six kind of stole the show a bit.
Which I was more than happy for them to do. I love those guys.

But I don't like how far the stage is from the barrier at such a small venue at Islington Academy.
Its all about the small sweaty venues when your up in each others faces.

OMFG those girls behind us at the barrier (met harlequinlily! Can't remeber your name SORRY!!!)
They did not stop yelling 'YOUR FIT!!' at the bands all night.
It was pathetic and kind of scary.

Awsome night tho!!

It was an epic show, I don't particularly think YouMeAtSix stole the show but they were all pretty awesome.

I got an amazing video of Don't Be So Hard so it has when everyone storms the stage. Awww.
